Hello fellow PBIS explorers. I hope all is well as you are gearing up for your new school year. I write to you embarking on a new adventure as well. I have taken a one-year leave of absence from the university to work more directly with schools around academic and behavioral issues (in particular PBIS). If you have questions about this arrangement, please send me an email. I also want you to know that we have finally exceeded the capacity of the "free" wiki we have been using. I have decided to open this website up publicly so that more people in your school can access. I would still be able to include 100 "users" who can upload information. In the future, I see two options for continuing to grow this resource. If you wish to maintain user status then you will still be able to upload and modify new material. If you would instead like to forward documents directly to me, I can load them to your space. One last warning: Given that this page is about to go public, please be mindful of confidentiality issues as you post and upload. I'm not aware of any documents currently posted that would be problematic, but photos in particular should be considered carefully before posting. Watch for changes... and let me know if you have any questions.

Hello all PBIS wiki fans. I am writing to let you all know that this quarter one of my students, Carli Crissman is helping out with the wiki webpage. Everyone say, "Hi Carli!" She has been adding pages for project schools (as you might have noticed). If you have documents that you would like Carli to upload to your pages, please send them to her and she will get them onto your school page. Make sure you let her know your school name. Her email address is:
cacrissman@gmail.com

You can also click on her profile under the Users Tab and link to her email. I appreciate the contributions already to this website. There are great materials being developed and added. If you have not had a chance to share your documents yet, I hope you will take advantage of Carli's help.

Right now I am your coordinator for PBSsurveys.org. We have learned that this means when you are finished completing a survey, you must notify me in order to view the results of your completed surveys. When you are sure you have completed a survey, send me an email and I'll "close your survey." You will then be able to access your results one day after the survey window closes. I am in the process of working with the administrator at PBSsurveys to set up "local coordinators" who would be given permission to open and close surveys for smaller numbers of schools in a districts or regions. Check back soon for more instructions on this topic, but be thinking about someone in your area who could serve as a local PBSsurveys coordinator for a small number of PBIS schools in your district or region.

For those of you using PBSsurveys.org, I have learned that multiple users in a school can complete a survey simultaneously by logging in using your school code. The administrator at PBSsurveys would in fact encourage this practice for the self-assessment survey (during an all staff meeting for example where staff bring laptops) so that you get higher survey completion rates. If you do not yet have a PBSsurvey school code, click my email link and I'll make sure you are set up.
